"Raegan"

Hi Lisa,
We want to thank you so much for selling us such a wonderful puppy! What a gem she is! She has fit into our family so well. We can tell that she spent alot of time with you, as she follows me every where and is a real companion dog. It was so neat to find a person like you who cares for her animals like we do,and is not a "puppy mill" and just in it for the money. I have had several people ask me where we found such a nice puppy and I tell them alooooong way from Michigan!!! If you had more I would have a couple of homes for them!! We all love her and are enjoying each day with her. Our sadness over losing our 13 1/2 yr. old Lacy  (a Lab ) is eased by the smiles little Raegan brings us. What fun she is!!! Thanks again--you are awesome!

Hi Lisa,
It was awesome to hear from you. Yes, I was on your web site and saw the pictures of Raegan. Boy, has she changed! She is a great dog. Pretty laid back for a puppy. Loves all kids and is very patient with them. She is not a chewer on anything but her nyla bones. She is good in her crate and still sleeps in one in our bedroom at night.  She rides in the car with me a lot and loves that too. She is probably the sweetest dog we have ever owned and I am not kidding!  I hope to train her in agility this summer. There is a gal in our community that trains so it would be handy. Do you know if any one has ever trained one of your Doodles in agility? Raegan can jump like you wouldn't believe.  Have a good night and look froward to hearing from you.

Bye for now,
Nancy

Here is a picture of Raegan at 1year and 7 months old.  She is a beauty and is now taking agility classes, we wish her good luck.

"Cocoa"

Hi Lisa,
My vet has said that “Cocoa has the best qualities of both breeds.”  She is very funny, spunky and of course loveable.  You can see by her picture on her adoption day that she adjusted beautifully to her new home—no crying, no diarrhea, no vomiting--just a happy little pup wanting to play and sleep.  She is incredibly curious and adventuresome.  She gets along beautifully with other dogs and people of all ages.  Her favourite game is playing Alpha with tolerant and patient adult dogs.  With people, I’m working on fetch, but she prefers to play “chase me” right now.   She is smart enough to know what is not hers and grab it without damaging it to entice a chase.  She has several nicknames—Cocoa Bean, Cocoa Nut and Monkey Doodle are three favourites.
Enjoy the pictures.

Cocoa weighs between 60-62 lbs.  She has held that range since she was 12 months.  She has had no health problems or concerns.  She is very athletic.  She gets 2 walks off lead in the woods per day with a total of 1.5 to 2 hours per day.  That is why she is relaxed.  She is quite capable of jumping 6 feet straight up in the air and getting hyper when people come to the door.  The book Cesar’s Way (The Dog Whisperer) helped me manage that jumping— I used to give her one long walk a day.  Now I give her two medium walks.  I am also now 100% consistent with being pack leader.  It has made a big difference.  She has been wearing a dog jacket to keep warm this week.  When the temperature is above freezing she swims every day.  She is very good with other dogs.   I never socialized her with cats, so to her they are prey.  My error.  In case you can’t tell, I gush over her.  She is a beautiful dog and every day I appreciate your TLC in breeding and starting her out.  She still has her pink blanket from you.

"Owen"

Hi Lisa,
We have been meaning to email you for quite awhile to let you know how Owen is doing. He has been a wonderful addition to our family. As you know we lost our previous dog of 13 years in July and from the moment he came home with us he has been fantastic. I have never had a dog that is so easy to train. He has me certainly wrapped around his "little paw". He goes everywhere with me and people are so intrigued to find out what breed he is.
He loves anyone he meets, almost too much! His favourite pastimes are to play in water, even in the winter, and chase the squirrels in our backyard. Although he has not caught one yet, it does not stop him from trying. He has also cultivated a legion of female fans from his groomer to his vet assistants - they all know Owen. One look into his dark brown eyes gets them all the time. His vet has nicknamed him "turbo" and its fitting as he goes this speed all day long. he's a busy guy.
I have been recommending this breed and you to anyone who is remotely interested in a dog. he does not shed, big plus, does not chew furniture and the fact he was so easily trained. If I had the space I would two of these dogs for sure.
Owen is now 57 lbs and about 24 inches. His coat is so soft and surprisingly it does not mat so brushing is pretty easy.
I have attached some pictures for you.
Take care,
Karen, Dave, Max and Owen

"Dewey"

Dewey was adopted by Barbara from Cheektowaga, NY.  He weighs 71 lbs and has a zero maintenance coat.

Dewey is 3 years old and has an absolutely amazing coat

AUTUMN

Her eyes and brown nose are her distinct features that many people notice and comment on.

Autumn loves people and other dogs. She thinks everybody is her friend. You can tell she was very well socialized while in her litter. However Autumn needs to learn not to jump on everybody and try and give everybody a kiss.

Hope all is well with your crew. So are you taking a break now and giving the moms a break before the next litter. You can sure tell you love your dogs and it rubs on off on your dogs.

Take care.

SHEBA

Dear Lisa,

I periodically check your website for updates on all the puppies and any new ones you have had. I just saw you were able to put Shebas pictures on the sight. THANK-YOU SO MUCH!

Sheba is the love of my life; she is my constant shadow and companion. She is 13 months old now and weighs around 60-62 pounds. She is healthy, happy and so full of love. She is always at my side no matter what I am doing and I constantly am telling her what a good girl she is. Steven and Megan just think she is the best dog there has ever been in the whole wide world (of course I agree). They are always giving her lots of love and attention. My husband laughs and thinks Ive replaced him with Sheba with the way she is always by my side. Thank-you for breeding the best puppies in the whole world! I tell anyone who will listen; if you want a great dog get a labradoodle; you want a perfect dog get it from Lisa Macleod at Macleoddoodles! Keep up the great way you breed your dogs Lisa. They show your hard work and devotion with the way they behave. Thank-you again for the best dog in the world!

Love, The Grecos

Sheba lives with the Greco family in New York.  Here is a picture of her at Christmas she is 11 months old.
