Exercise is important to all Labradoodle pups. Labradoodle breeders would tell you this is necessary for the development of the joints, muscles, bones and the overall health of your Australian labradoodle. Labradoodle breeders will also say that blood circulation is also promoted so nutrients are well distributed throughout the body of the Australian labradoodle and all Labradoodle pups.

Free Exercise: Good for Australian Labradoodle and all Labradoodle Pups

As the name suggests, the Australian Labradoodle and all the Labradoodle pups are free from their leashes during this exercise. Labradoodle breeders would let the Australian labradoodle and all the Labradoodle pups play, stop, flop down, get up and change direction freely. Labradoodle breeders don’t have to regulate the amount of exercise the Australian Labradoodle and all the Labradoodle pups would have. All the Labradoodle pups and the Australian Labradoodle can go on as they please. Later on when the Australian labradoodle and the Labradoodle pups would just rest when they feel tired and need to rest.

Labradoodle Breeders Enforce Forced Exercises

This is when Labradoodle breeders put the Australian labradoodle and all the Labradoodle pups on leashes, and Labradoodle breeders walk and trot them.

Labradoodle breeders force the Labradoodle pups and the Australian Labradoodle into these rhythmic exercises. The purpose of the Labradoodle breeders is for the Australian Labradoodle and the Labradoodle pups to use the same tendons, ligaments and muscles repetitively so they can be developed. Labradoodle breeders regulate this type of exercises though as excessive forced exercises on Australian Labradoodle and Labradoodle pups can also injure them especially when they are still so young.

Labradoodle Breeders Suggest Impact Exercises

While labradoodle breeders suggest that an Australian Labradoodle do impact exercises, they should not be made to do so before they reach 12 months old. That’s because the muscles, ligaments and tendons of the pups are not yet matured and strong enough for the activity at that stage.

For impact exercise, Labradoodle breeders allow Labradoodle pups to jump off from an elevated surface like from a car or from furniture. But again, such exercises should be closely monitored.

Mixing Exercises Suggested Too!

Well, exercises can be mixed as well to provide variety for the pups. For instance, a free exercise can be mixed with an on-leash walk. Swimming is also natural for Labradoodle pups. Bicycling with your dog is also another fun activity.

As Labradoodle pups owners though you should take note that an Australian Labradoodle that’s not more than four months cannot exceed a ten minute exercise. Labradoodle pups, not older than 6 months, can spend a maximum of 15 minutes exercise. Those aging between 6 months and 12 months can spend 30 minutes exercising. It is only when your Australian Labradoodle ages 12 months that it should be exercised to develop stamina.

Before that age, Labradoodle pups should also not be allowed to play in the stairs. Letting them run in stairs could be detrimental to them and cause permanent injuries such as elbow dysfunction and hip dysplasia.

To be safe, it would be a good idea to have your Labradoodle checked for injuries so your vet can rule out some exercises if needed.
